In view of the steady increase in the international demand for heparin and the outbreak of African swine fever in the small intestine of pigs, the main raw material, the supply of raw materials is bound to fail to gain international recognition. After the PIC/S GMP pharmaceutical factory is licensed, it is considered that there is a company specializing in the production of heparin raw materials in Taiwan, so that the parent company Noah Biotech Taiwan can produce anticoagulant drug raw materials safely. Therefore, in 2019, it submitted a bid to Chiayi County Government Sale and acquisition of 6,000 square meters of land in Machohou Industrial Park, and officially started the construction of Taiwan’s first HACCP and ISO22000 certified heparin raw material factory in August 2019.
